Leave It To The Writer by John Patrick Robbins

When the bullshit of life catches you standing alone.

Leave it to the writer to capture the beauty of that which does not exist.

Allow the poets to romanticize the glory in living off air .

Let the drunks have their bottle and the junkies their fix .

Don’t question the color choice of the painter simply admire the work don’t stand and dissect it
like a bug .

Picking it apart till there’s nothing left.

Never value the critics opinion for an opinion is all it remains .
Leave it to the writer to construct the story you yourself cannot craft .

And for every other problem there is an expert with a title .
Avoid other artist for they will slowly drive you insane .

Was I creative from the start or did I simply suck at doing anything that involves being anything
but myself?

I leave it all to the page to decide .
