Haiku by J. Donnelly

Haiku Anthology by Jessy Bissal

Cape Cod residents
Breathe fresh January air
But choke in August

Hell’s Angels bikers
One clean cut and one tattooed
Talk rent in Greenwich

The sun in Sunday
Never shines, never shimmers
When midnight bells ring

Curing poverty
Increase livelihood taxes
But I like cheap shirts

Unexpected rain
Barbeques send smoke signals
Ponchos are useless

Fancy insect bites
Rare spiders from deep jungles
Only for rich arms
