Five till The End by Sze-Leng Tan

Five till The End

Are you going to run and hide,
Or look into your enemy’s eyes?
Listen with your heart open wide!
Has it ever been a peaceful ride?

Are you saying your last goodnight,
Or sticking to your brutal fight?
Will you wish me to be by your side?
Will we finally see eye to eye?

Are you having the final memorable dance in your life,
Or satisfied with the last remorse gripping your mind?
Will you drown me deeper and then walk on by?
Will you keep blinded by your overpowering pride?

It’s five till The End…
Forgive me at last, will you try?
Will we finally see eye-to-eye?
Will you see me in the last lights entering your eyes?

I am waiting for you…
In the Crimson Daffodil Hill
Like we once were,
Before Eternity settles in…
And set us free from all resentments and anger…

It’s five till The End…
Forgive me at last, will you try?
Will we finally see eye to eye?
Will you see me in the last lights entering your eyes?
