Epic~by Pamela Rossow

She forgot her melody
and tried humming her
theme song back into
existence.

Epic fail. She realized
she’d have to compose
anew—the old too
wanting.

Filled with lies and the
pathological doctrines of
one who spewed “belief
utterances”—

She needed deliverance
from—a gut screaming
lung twisting uncontrollable
storm.

Acceptance rejected. She
wanted brilliance—a life
riveting sunrise gasping—
incredulity.
