The blue mist~ by Dawnell Harrison

The rain and hail drop
As a blue mist rides

Through the apple-ridden

A star falls as the winged
Apples glide through the air

And topple onto the leaf-ridden

The pink peonies yawn
At our sides and slide

From the earth unharmed.
The world echoes silence,
Silent as a mirror.
