Others Regret and Folly
Impinge upon me
While I look
In all the right places
For support.

Transient figurines
Glance and snicker
Pointed fingers
Gnarly now
From years
Of bitterness and jealousy.

Such an invitation
Firmly refused.
Strident steps
As I open their curtains
Blackness retreats and hides
Loathsome stares
As sunshine and light
Empower and replenish.

For Love
Is never ending.

  1. Neil – I like this! To me, at least in the end it is like the rise of the phoenix, whose cry is a beautiful song. Although a dark journey…”Love is never ending”. Very well done.
