Dare To Dream by Neil Chatterton

Dare To Dream~

Eyelids fluttering, images swirl
Waiting as you are swept away on a delicious journey to a place where time is not measured by the hands of a clock.
Here there is only laughter and happiness which caresses.
Tingling sensations that envelop the body and soul.

Perfect memories hidden and tucked neatly away push forward,
surging like a tidal wave until you are immersed
into a world without fear, a world with only love.
Replaying your life, you control everything.
Nothing is left to chance this time around.
The pleasure is only for you, for it is your own private pleasure.

Yearning for more as conjured images tease the most private senses.
Arching up towards the sky a small cry of pleasure escapes from salty lips as you feel sweat trickle down your back.
You cherish the feeling, holding on tight until you taste blood as the moment of ecstasy comes.

You are fulfilled as you dare to dream.

Suddenly awake.
Yet, for a moment, it seemed like forever.

  1. Another great poem, sir! Oh, if only one could be perpetually in the dream-world!…
“Thus have I had thee, as a dream doth flatter,
In sleep a king, but waking no such matter.”
    -W. Shakespeare (sonnet 87)
