Sakura~ by Ryan Ward

Ah Sakura,
My little cherry blossom,
So pretty in pink,
And ever falling,
I watch your descent from the stairs.
The steps you take are ever graceful,
Never fake.
I laugh and you shake,
Shedding old skin,
The prettiest of faces,
The perfect complexion.
The slowest of races,
Float down past the brown,
Down to me and the ground.
I have you for only a second,
Like fleeting lucidity.
I blow you a kiss,
Send you on your way.
My Sakura,
So pretty in pink,
Sweet cherry blossom,
Don’t stop to think.
