Such a Sweet Girl

by Willow

Such a little thing; so very small
just pay no attention, it’s not worth it
at all; no forget the place of sanctuary,
forget it no longer shelters me; forget
a stranger could invade and show up
when he was not invited,, I am enraged
not just excited.
And the thing that kills me
what I know, I am not vindictive,
I forgive quickly not slow,
that must be what they sniff the wind for
a victim who is kind and says just let it go

Just let it go
when I rip out his throat
just let it go
when I grind up his bones
just let it go
when I break a few teeth
just let it go
when I bury him deep.
