Turning On The Tap

by Neil Chatterton

Imagination stirred
Your presence
Overwhelms me from afar
Covetous longings
Cover me like prickly heat.

Craving’s unabashed
Wistful images
Conjured
As I close my eyes
Rhythmic breathing
Tempered by my need and want
For you.
Butterflies escape me.

Feeling your warmth
So close
Skin on skin
Meld’s into
Magical exploration
Boundaries
Shattered
As I exhale
Not wanting to disturb
You
Perfection
Everywhere
Always and Forever.
