I believed in the power of well chosen words to distill the world, and to clarify it. I take my inspiration from everything and anything that touches me as I imagine the dreams of the wizened mechanic whose greasy fingerprints stain the sparkling sapphire water of sugar sand beaches in a stack of travel magazines on his desk or seek my own catharsis from the pain of the past or the fear of an uncertain future. My strongest belief and favorite subject to write about is the resilience of the human spirit and our universal need for connection. It is in reaching for love out of loss we ensure our redemption and leave the world of the mundane behind as we willingly give ourselves up to the magic of possibility and boundless imagination.
