You’ve got all your holiday shopping completed, right? Ha! I know wishful thinking huh? I would like to give a big kudos to everyone that has completed their shopping. You know there are a few of us that procrastinate (ME) or have one person on their list that we never know what to buy. Yes, I am talking about the person who already has everything, the one you always give a gift card too. Well don’t head off to the gift card isle yet, have a peek at this week of gadgets first.

~Wine and Gadgets~

Wine is a big hit during the Christmas Season, making its first appearance around Thanksgiving. It also makes for a great gift to hand to all the hostess’s/host’s for the many Christmas parties that take place around this time, leading into the New Year.

Some of my Gadgets in this segment will be geared toward Wine, from electronic openers, mini wine cellars, chillers to Aerators.
 

Wine Enthusiast Electric Blue Push-Button Corkscrew

This is a fairly inexpensive  gift, and also doubles up as entertainment for your guests. A blue light surrounds the cork (seen through the action window) as it’s being extracted from the bottle, many guests find this interesting. (really, you’ll be surprised at the group that will hang out to see it ) This particular model is black and comes with its own holder, along with a foil cutter. There is another model which is Chrome also comes with the foil opener. It doesn’t have a holder like the other model and is the more expensive of the two. Both models hold a charge for up to 8 hours.

Another great gift especially for the Red Wine drinker on your list. If you’re a red wine drinker you know that it should be given some time to breathe which enhances the taste. This is will instantly add air enhancing the flavors without the wait. The Aerator comes on a stand not only making it easy to aerate each glass of wine, but it’s also entertaining guests will stand around watching each glass of wine being poured. It’s a stylish piece and looks nice sitting on your bar or countertop.

Vinturi Essential White Wine Aerator

This particular aerator is for white wine and doesn’t come with the tall stand, but comes with a little resting stand. (it works on the above stand or you can buy a stand for it at $39.99) Works the same as the above Red Wine Aerator, but since it doesn’t come with a tall pouring stand it’s a hand held type deal.
