The Grail

by Nzube Ifechukwu

To those accoutred in dim doubts,
I say He is a virgin’s thick thickets.
To those twined by thorny thoughts,
I say He is raindrops in a river.

To those who think He is a scarecrow,
I say He is the twelve basketfuls
concealed in mere two fish and five loaves.
To the Kings Solomon I say,
He sits in Heaven and laughs;
He is shrieked with derisive laughter at you!
